Gene and Sara Beekman have been in the ministry for almost 40 years.  They served in a variety of leadership positions in Campus Crusade for Christ (1970-1986) and Church Resource Ministries (1986-1989) before launching Revitalizing Churches in 1989.

Sara came to know Jesus Christ as her Savior during a youth retreat when she was 14 years old.  Gene came to the Lord in 1969 while in college through Campus Crusade for Christ.  Both Gene and Sara believe God called them into full-time Christian ministry in 1970 and 1971 respectively.

Sara Beekman is a vibrant wife and mother who frequently speaks at Christian Women’s Clubs and church groups.  She addresses such topics as abundant living, prayer, and motherhood.  Sara is Secretary/Treasurer for Revitalizing Churches, Inc.

Dr. Gene Beekman, President of Revitalizing Churches, Inc., is a graduate of the International School of Theology (M.Div.) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D.Min.). 

The Beekmans have a grown son and daughter and have lived in Phoenix since 1984.
