Sara Beekman, President of Revitalizing Churches, Inc. and Stop To Pray, has been in the ministry for almost 40 years.  She served in a variety of leadership positions in Campus Crusade for Christ (1970-1986) and Church Resource Ministries (1986-1989) before launching Revitalizing Churches in 1989 together with her late husband, Gene Beekman.

Sara came to know Jesus Christ as her Savior during a youth retreat when she was 14 years old and believes that God called her into full-time ministry in 1971. 

Sara is a vibrant Christian speaker who frequently shares her testimony and addresses topics of abundant living, prayer, encouragement, and motherhood at Christian Women’s Clubs and church groups. She has a grown son and daughter and has lived in Phoenix since 1984.
